Our Story

Hi, we're Jess and Amy! Our journey together began when

we met in Milton, Florida while assigned to Navy flight

training. We soon married and began our careers in Coast

Guard aviation in Miami, Florida. When we finished our

commitments to our country, we packed up and headed to

Redding, California to be near family. Nearly a decade and

several additions to the family later, here we are! We're

thrilled to share our vacation rental with you.

The Bear Mountain Retreat House is more than just a rental

to us; it's a special place we call home. We've poured our

hearts into making it a comfortable, stylish, and welcoming

space for you to create lasting memories. We hope you
